TIME FOR REST AND PLAY
Frequent 4 hourly rest stops are an important part of our service. While we aim to be as efficient as possible and make travel time as quick as possible, the welfare and health of our driver and all animals on board is our priority.
During rest stops, each Dog is given exercise, fresh air, water and of course lots of cuddles. Our driver also ensures all enclosures are clean and smelling fresh before taking a rest themselves. The drivers rest is also very important to minimise fatigue.
These rest stops are always factored into your schedule and are usually scheduled for approximately one hour in time, depending on how many Dogs are on board.
Since we track every Dog in transit, we track and manage when and where rest stops have occurred. This information is logged together with any other information about your Dogs journey such as average cabin temperature etc. This information helps us to improve our service where possible.
4 HOURLY RESTS
Having a rest after four hours in transit breaks up the journey nicely for our driver and our valued passengers. Sure, we’d like to get your Dog to it’s destination as soon as possible, but we also want them to be happy during transit.
Frequent exercise is an important part of the journey your driver will always ensure there is time to play out in the fresh air. There are always multiple cuddles available too.
The interior of our cabins have been designed and built to allow for veterinary grade sanitation. Each cage is checked and sanitised as required during rest stops to ensure your Dog remains comfortable.
